RCCL has great entertainment for both of your ages, youthful crowd on board, food is great and they even have a supper club that is worth its $20 pp where you two can get away from the crowd one evening. Our last trip in September we took Enchantment of the Seas and it was great and it only about $350 with the taxes included. We were the tail end of hurricane season and we never saw a drop of rain, but that brought the price down.
We want to go on the cruise in November for her 55th birthday. I am looking now and thinking that it may be too late to book at cruise for November. We don't want to go on a very expensive cruise, but we would like to go on a cruise that has a lot of options for things to do/see. It all depends on what you believe will be important to you. If, like us, you're most interested in seeing the Ports of Call, then you can find very reasonably priced cruises. If your more interested in the ship experience itself, then the more upscale lines may interest you.
